Several PrEP medications have been linked to serious side effects, including renal failure and loss of bone density. The implicated medications, manufactured by Gilead Sciences, Inc., include:

  • Truvada®

  • Viread®

  • Atripla®

  • Complera®

  • Stribild®

  • Acute Renal Failure

  • Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD)

  • Decreased Renal Function

Gilead is believed to have known about these side effects, but failed to have adequately informed patients of the risk.

As of now, no compensation has been paid, but Gilead has agreed to $97 million in settlements. We estimate the average claim to be $85,000.

Statutes of limitations apply, meaning if you have taken these drugs in the past and developed one of the above conditions, you have a limited amount of time to file your lawsuit.
